Founder Story

The Man Behind the Mission

My name is SK Teng, and I have spent the last 18 years building things that matter — systems, brands, and businesses that solve real problems for real people.

I started my digital marketing journey in Malaysia in 2008, working across system development, app builds, and business consultation. Over the years, I worked with clients across industries who trusted me to help them grow — quietly, strategically, and with results.

But along the way, I also experienced three business failures — two in Malaysia, one in Australia. Bankruptcy included. I am not ashamed to say that, because those failures taught me more than any success ever could.

Barack Obama once said: “The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won’t. It’s whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it.”

Elon Musk watched SpaceX rockets explode three times in a row before the fourth launch succeeded. He said: “Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough.” He nearly lost everything — and kept going.

Jack Ma was rejected from 30 jobs, turned down by Harvard 10 times, and was the only person rejected when KFC came to China and hired 23 out of 24 applicants. He said: “I failed 3 times in college. I applied 30 times to get a job but was always rejected. Today I am successful because I have more failure experiences than most people.”

I share this because I believe honest founders build better businesses.

In 2017, I made the move to Perth, Western Australia. Almost 10 years living here gave me a ground-level view of what is really happening in this state — families struggling to find quality short-stay accommodation, caravan parks sitting on underutilised land, and Australians paying high prices for outdated stays.

That gap is not just a business opportunity. For me, it became a calling.

MLSP — Modular Living Solutions Partner — exists to connect landowners, cabin builders, investors, and communities in a practical, structured way. We provide the funding, the cabins, and the operational solutions so caravan park owners can upgrade without the financial burden.

“Nothing is impossible. Just make it happen.”
